Pet Insurance FAQ
What is Pet Insurance?
Pet Insurance protects your pets, especially Dogs and Cats. Your beloved pet will be protected from accidents, permanent disability, death, and theft. If you are sued for damages by someone else due to your pet, you can get compensation for the loss. Not only that, pet insurance is also equipped with additional guarantees such as compensation for hospitalization costs and cremation benefits.
What are the exceptions?
This insurance does not cover death caused by:
He Insured intentionally kills the Insured Object or acts in that direction, whether done with malicious intent or not.
As a result of poisoning or being poisoned.
Giving birth or becoming pregnant.
The Insured Object is in animal quarantine due to certain diseases.
The illness or disease caused is not due to an accident.
Death that occurs in the first 30 days from the start date of insurance due to any cause.
This insurance does not cover medical expenses and/or hospitalization due to Canine disease, Canine Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Distemper, Rabies, Leptospirosis, FHV11, FCV, FPV, and FeLV.
This insurance does not cover loss due to theft of the Insured Object when the Insured Object is in an animal care facility and/or quarantine.
This insurance does not guarantee legal liability to third parties caused by:
Losses suffered by someone who lives in the same house as the Insured Object, has a family relationship with the Insured Object or is employed by the Insured.
Damage to property owned by the Insured, or owned by a Third-Party.
Physical injury and/or death of a third party caused by rabies.
This insurance does not guarantee death, loss, and legal liability to third parties directly or indirectly caused by the consequences, caused:
Riots, strikes, work obstruction, brawls, riots, popular uprisings, power takeovers, revolutions, civil wars and hostilities, treason, terrorism, sabotage, and looting.

Nuclear reactions, including but not limited to nuclear radiation, ionization, fusion, fission, or radioactive contamination, regardless of whether they occur inside or outside the Insured Object and/or insured interest.
What is a waiting period?
A waiting period is a certain period after an insurance policy is active, during which claims cannot be filed for certain conditions or events. For example, if you buy insurance on the 1st, and the insurance has a waiting period of 20 days, then you cannot claim events from the 1st to the 20th. You can only file a claim for events after the 21st.
Some products do not have a waiting period, so make sure you choose your product carefully.
What is your own risk?
Your own risk (deductible) is the amount of costs you must bear before the insurance company starts paying claims.
For this Pet Insurance, the amount of the risk itself is:
Option A: 20% of the approved claim value
Option B: 30% of the approved claim value
Example: If you buy Pet Insurance Option A, and you file a claim for medical treatment due to your pet's accident of 1 million, then the amount of your own risk is 200 thousand, so you will receive a claim replacement of 800 thousand.
Can I have more than one policy?
If you have more than one Pet Insurance policy, you can only file a claim to one policy for the same incident. However, as long as the compensation limit is still available, you can still file more than one claim to the same policy.
